Abinger Marquees at Surrey Cricket Festival

Once again, the Guildford Festival played host to five days of high quality cricket with some of the biggest names in world cricket on display.

Surrey ultimately lost by ten wickets to a strong Durham side that included England players Steve Harmison, Liam Plunkett and Phil Mustard, as well as, West Indian star Shivnarine Chanderpaul.

The event was packed, and we were all blessed with wonderful sunshine for the whole thing. Unfortunately this did not help Surreys fortunes as they also narrowly lost to the Yorkshire Carnegie as they fell 11 runs short of the victory target.
